Norms of Admission
Honours / General / Major Courses :The admission sub-committee formulates rules for admission following the guidelines of the University. The admission of the S.C./S.T./Physically Challenged candidates is regulated by Government norms. Special consideration in admission may be made to those students having outstanding performance in games and sports.
Admission Procedure :
- Attested copies of S.C. / S.T. /O.B.C. Certificate should be furnished, issued by appropriate authority as per the latest Government Order. Physically Challenged Candidates must attach attested copies of relevant documents from the competent authority.
- Students seeking admission to the 1st year degree classes should take note of the following:
The last date for the submission of the admission forms should be rigidly maintained.
Merit list will be published on time and this will be followed by counselling by different departments. Time and day will be duly notified. The dates of counselling should be strictly maintained. The students who pass the counselling must take their admission on the very day of counselling. If any deserving candidate's name is inadvertently left out from the list, he or she should immediately contact the Principal for rectification before the counselling.
In respect of admission the college authority reserves the right to make final decision without being answerable to any outside person, agency etc.
On the date of admission all the original documents should be produced.All admissions are provisional.
Migration :
Students coming from universities / others states or outside India, if admitted, must produce a Migration Certificate within One Month of Admission.
The students from Bangladesh (who fulfil the criteria) may be admitted provided they obtain Indian Citizenship Certificate or produce students' visa issued by appropriate authority. Proper equivalence should be furnished during the time of admission.
The Principal has the authority to reject any application for admission, without showing reasons, in the interest of the college.
