First – phase Admission to the seats meant for applicants of any University (40% category) and Second – phase Admission to the seats meant for WBSU (60%) category candidates to M.Sc. Course of Chemistry, Microbiology or Zoology is scheduled as follows (in continuation of Notice No. 1 dated 07.08.2014 in this regard) :

DETAILS OF COUNSELLING

CATEGORY 40% (Any University)

CATEGORY 60% (WBSU) : Second Phase Counseling

CHEMISTRY and ZOOLOGY

Only those applicants of WBSU category who attended the First Counseling on 20.08.2014 but are yet to get a chance for Admission are to report on 01.09.2014 between 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon at the respective Departments for any possible vacancy in this category.

MICROBIOLOGY

All the applicants of WBSU category may report on 01.09.2014 between 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon at the Microbiology Department for any possible vacancy in this category. Those who reported for the First Counselling will be given preference.

• Print out of the Application form.
• Original copy of the payment receipt.
• Original copy of Madhyamik / Equivalent examination Certificate / Admit Card as age proof.
• Original copy of the Mark sheets of B.Sc Part I, II and III final examinations issued by the University.
• SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate from appropriate authority, in case.
• Original copy of the Character Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
• Income certificate of guardian from employer (if employed) or from other appropriate source.
• 3 passport/ stamp size coloured photographs.
• One photocopy of each of the items mentioned in 3,4 and 5
• Requisite Admission fees. (Please go through the NOTICE No. 3 in this regard)

A call for counselling does not guarantee admission. Late reporting or non – reporting cases will not be entertained later. A candidate appearing for counselling without any one of the items (1 to 10) will have his / her chance for admission forfeited even if selected after counselling.

A candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC category who might be accommodated in General category Seat on the basis of Merit has to exercise an option to the effect that he / she wants to be admitted under General Category (vide Govt Memo No 1190-Edn(U0/EH/1U-89/13 dated 02.12.2013).

SC/ST candidates seeking admission under reserved category must secure marks 75% of last general candidate admitted and for OBC candidates, it is 90%.
