However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribe community taking up Honours Course of study must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examinations, as the case may be.
- Selection would be on the basis of best of 4 plus Hons. or relevant subject marks, for General only best of 4. The Merit list would be published in due time.
- *Any student from Science stream would be allowed to the Arts Hons of History and Political Sc if he/she gets 50% marks in best of 4 excluding environmental science. Selection would be on the basis of best of 4 plus English marks. The same is applicable for Science students to take admission in Economics if passed in mathematics.
- Vocational students are only eligible to General course.
- Science students may apply for commerce stream provided he has passed in Mathematics if other conditions satisfy.
- Full marks of English as a subject must be of 100 marks.
- For admission in general stream direct admission is allowed, if the candidate gets pass marks in aggregates and all the subjects.
- For admission in B.Com. gen the candidate should get pass marks in commerce or relevant subjects like B. Com Hons.
