Admission Procedure

For Admission to First Year M.Tech
Candidates should pass the four years B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent degree in respective branch where they desire to seek admission. GATE qualified candidates will get preference.

For Admission to First Year B.Tech
Candidates should :

• Pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and secure minimum 50% marks
  (PCM = 150) in the same.
• Must qualify / pass in English at 10+2 level.
• Must have valid WBJEE or AIEEE rank.

For Admission to First Year MCA
Candidates should be graduate in any discipline from a statutory university with Mathematics and secure minimum 50% marks and have the valid rank card of JECA.

For Admission to First Year MBA
Candidates should pass (10+2+3) level with MAT / JEMAT score +GD & PI conducted by the Institute

For Admission to First Year BBA
Candidates should pass 10+2 from any stream with minimum of 40% marks.

For Admission to First Year BCA
Candidates should :

• Pass 10+2 with English and Mathematics with 40% Marks.
• Must qualify / pass in English and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

For Admission to First Year LAW
Candidates should :

• Pass 10+2 with minimum 50% marks.
• Minimum Age 20 Years.

For Admission to First Year Hotel Management
Candidates should pass 10+2 from any stream.

Bengal Institute of Technology & Management (BITM) was established in 2001 with the aim to provide quality education and produce best engineers to work around the world. However since this is one of the most renowned and coveted tourist spot in Bengal one would surely like to gather information on Hotels at Santiniketan. Please note that there are tourist lodges and Tourist cottages run by the West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation apart from which Visva Bharati runs a guesthouse as well. One can also find youth hostels at Bolpur and Bakeswar along with quite a few private hotels at Bolpur. Weather in Santiniketan is usually a pleasant one although you will come across the normal weather changes during Summer, winter and Monsoon. Nonetheless Spring has its own charm in Santiniketan not only because of its natural beauty blooming to its fullest amidst the lush greenery but also due to the famous Vasanta Utsav held to mark the festival of Holi with the onset of Spring. Connectins to Santiniketan: From Calcutta Shantiniketan is 136 kms: By Rail: By train from Howrah to Bolpur. Shantiniketan is 2 kms from Bolpur by cycle rickshaw. By Road: By road it is 211 km from Calcutta. Direct bus service.
