For General Course (Day Section)
Students having 40% and above marks (30% for SC and ST) in H.S or equivalent exam can apply separately for General course.
Students interested to study with Elective English as general subject must have 50% in subject in H.S or equivalent exam and 50% in aggregate. Students applying for Journalism & Mass Comm as general paper must have 50% in English in H.S or equivalent. Students opting for Electronics or Statistics as general paper must have pass marks in Mathematics. Students applying for Geography as General paper must have 65% in subject & 60% in aggregate in the previous examination. For Psychology general course a student must get 45% in aggregate and 50% in subject.
For Morning Section
Students having 40% or more marks in aggregate in H.S or equivalent exam (30% for SC, ST and OBC) can apply for morning section. Subject available in morning section:- Honours in Bengali / History. Elective Subjects : Bengali , History Political Science , Philosophy & Education. Schedule Caste / Scheduled Tribe / OBC (A/B) Students coming from scheduled Caste, Scheduled tribe or OBC (A/B) sections must submit caste certificate during admission. Marks relaxation and reservation in various subjects are available as per applicable Govt. Orders and CU Norms.
