• Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM)
  
  In tune with the vision of IIM Rohtak to be a global leader in management education in the course of time, IIM Rohtak’s mission is to develop leader, managers with a global outlook. The Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management at IIM Rohtak (IIM-R) offers a judicious blend of theory and practice and is delicately designed to be change-oriented. The course curriculum is continually reviewed and updated to cater to the requirements of industry and reflect changes in the environment. A unique feature of the IIM-R PGP is its in-built concern for the larger society as reflected in the design of the curriculum, which aims at nurturing well-focused, value-conscious and socially committed managers and leaders of future. Being aware of the shifting boundaries and the winds of change in a globalizing business environment, the programme also lays considerable emphasis on exposure to many aspects of international business and related strategic and cross cultural issues.
  
  Good practice flows from strong theory” – this is the credo of the Post Graduate Program (PGP) at IIM Rohtak. The PGP is designed to develop professional managers with the strong conceptual fundamentals and skills required to manage businesses of the future, while giving them the vision to determine what the future will be.
  
  This program is a two year, full time, residential program. The students meeting the program requirements are awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
• Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP)
  
  The Programme at IIM Rohtak is uniquely structured to provide high quality management education to practicing executives with minimal disruptions at their work place. This programme is for experienced executives, entrepreneurs and professionals, who desire to enhance their managerial knowledge and skills through formal management education. The programme is structured to ensure high standards and rigour expected from the brand IIM for its Post Graduate Programmes.
  
  The ePGP for working executives at IIM Rohtak is designed to have both on and off campus modules. While the off-campus distance module will form the mainstay of the programme, the on-campus module of 4 weeks in 2-year programme or 2 weeks in 1-year programme, 1 week each in each of the Terms of the year, is designed to give the participants the experience of the residential programmes of the Institute and a sense of belongingness to IIM Rohtak as both students and alumni later.
  
  The programme is designed to cater to the requirements of a cross-section of industry, enabling participants to share their rich and diverse experiences among themselves in addition to having the classroom learning. The interactive and collaborative learning environment, that this programme and the Institute offer, provides a stimulating platform to the executives having different functional domain backgrounds and ensures the maximum return on their time and resources invested.
• Executive Training (MDP)
  
  A major academic objective of IIM Rohtak is to actively promote professional development of practising managers, through well designed and delivered Management Development Programmes (MDPs). These are being designed as short-duration skill development programmes for business executives who cannot attend long-duration programmes in view of their pressing professional requirements, but who need periodic updating of their managerial skills to succeed in an intensely competitive globalized world. They are meant for corporate executives as well as for the personnel working in social and government organizations.
  
  The MDPs offered by IIM Rohtak are classified as “Open programmes” and “Sponsored programmes”. Open programmes are designed and offered by IIM faculty members based on their areas of specialization and are open for participation by the executives of any organization. Sponsored (In- company) programmes are designed and conducted to suit the specific needs of an organisation at its request. The various disciplines covered by MDPs of IIM Rohtak are: Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology Systems, Strategic Management, General Management and Business Environment.
  
  All the MDPs of IIM Rohtak are delivered by its knowledgeable and experienced faculty who have proven track record of executive education. All faculty members have expertise in their respective fields.
• Academic Training (FDP)
  
  Faculty development is a process of enhancing and promoting any form of academic scholarship in individual faculty members. Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) of IIM Rohtak are aimed at maintaining and improving the professional competency of faculty members working in B’Schools of universities and private institutions within India and abroad. Our FDPs enable the faculty to update themselves with the advanced teaching techniques, learning methods and in conducting research activities. The FDP offered by IIM Rohtak are designed in the form of workshops, training programmes, lectures and demonstrations.
• Doctoral Programme (FPM)
  
  The Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIM Rohtak) aims at becoming a global leader in creation and dissemination of management knowledge and to be India’s future global learning center. It recognizes that no premier academic institution of higher learning will be able to create and sustain excellence without strong emphasis on world class research. In line with the its vision and planning, IIM Rohtak invites applications for its Doctoral Programme in Management (Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)) for the academic year 2016. It has incorporated the strengths of similar programmes in other IIMs and other major institutions and has included specific innovative features as per the emerging needs. IIM Rohtak sees the Fellow Programme as a crucial source of management researchers and teachers of top quality both to the academic institutions including IIMs and to the industry, business, government and society.
  
  The programme duration is four years, but it can be completed any time after three years. The Programme can be extended upto 4½ years. The participants are given a monthly fellowship, a contingency grant, waiver of tuition fees, support to attend national international/national conferences and support for research visits to global partner institutions.

Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP)

Eligibility Criteria

• A Bachelor’s Degree** or its equivalent in any discipline with Aggregate 50% mark or equivalent CGPA. Those with CA/ICWAI/CS are also eligible to apply.
• Applicant should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in managerially relevant executive positions (experience in positions such as attendant, clerk, accountant etc. (self-employed positions or in tiny/ small family-owned enterprises will not be considered).

Doctoral Programme (FPM)

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have at least one of the following qualifications:

• Post-Graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA;
• Qualifications of CA, ICWA or CS with at least 50% marks;
• Professional qualifications such as MBBS, LLB and similar qualifications with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA;
• 4-year Engineering degrees, viz., B.Tech and B.E, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA;
• Candidates with qualifications equivalent to MBA as approved by the Association of Indian Universities.

Qualifying Examination:

A candidate should have a valid test score not older than two years from the date of application in any of the following tests:

• CAT conducted by IIMs
• GMAT/GRE (General/Advanced)
• UGC/CSIR JRF (other JRFs will not be considered)
• GATE
• PGDM of IIMs not older than 5 years.

* Non-Resident Indians, Persons of Indian origin and other foreign citizens should have a valid GMAT/GRE score of not older than two years from the date of application.

Along time ago, we made a tryst with destiny. Now the time has come to redeem our pledge not wholly or in full measures but very substantially. Nehru's words on 15th August, 1947, echo unto this day. Its echo is in the Government's vision of promoting excellence in management education. The establishment of the 8th Indian Institute of Management at Rohtak on the 16th of November 2009manifests this enduring vision.

It has been over two and a half years since that day and, during this period we have come a long way. A vibrant student community, brought into one place from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, is poised to take the nation by surprise. With exceptional performances in various competitions, frequent industry interactions and a spectacular placement record, IIMRohtak stands proud as one of the passionate entrants into the IIM family.

True to the IIM legacy, IIM Rohtak aspires to impart knowledge of business disciplines with a unique cross- functional perspective to prepare ethical and innovative leaders for the good of not just the nation, but the world. We seek to build in our students advanced leadership skills, an appreciation for the impact of management systems on the working of organizations, and an understanding of the strategic, economic and operating significance of even the smallest of events in the current and foreseeable global scenario. Set with in the verdant surroundings of Maharshi Dayanand University, IIM Rohtak has access to some of the finest academic, cultural and sports facilities in the country. Our own campus is currently in the process of being developed in an area of over 200 acres in the nearby township of Sunaria.

IIM Rohtak has a strategic location in the National Capital Region (it's the only IIM in the NCR) that can facilitate it to a global Centre of learning with the right efforts on intellectual capital and knowledge resources. Commensurate with this, the vision of IIM Rohtak is to be a global leader in management education and in the creation and dissemination of knowledge like our ancient Nalanda was.
