B.Com.

The B.Com degree is a full time course offered at JICM Bhopal is affiliated to Barkatullah University with an intake capacity of 30 students. Here, the students while studying the regular B.Com course benefit from a unique opportunity to undertake two add-0n certifications along with our unique Career Enhancement Program (CEP). The add-on certifications along with the professional development sessions at JICM Bhopal add value to the students’ degree and enhance their employability.

B.Com. (Advertising)

The B.Com degree is a full time course offered at JICM Bhopal, with an intake capacity of 60 students and is affiliated to Barkatullah University. We offer specialization in Advertising, At JICM Bhopal the students gain an additional advantage by studying for two add-on certifications under our unique career enhancement program. The ad-on certifications along with the professional development sessions at JICM Bhopal add value to the students’ degree and enhance their employability.

B.B.A.

The BBA degree is a full time course offered at JICM Bhopal, with an intake capacity of 120 students and is affiliated to Barkatullah University. At JICM Bhopal the students gain an additional advantage by studying for two add-on certifications under our unique career enhancement program. The add-on certifications along with the professional development sessions at JICM Bhopal add value to the students’ degree and enhance their employability.

PGDM in Communication (Marketing Communication Management)

The course offers three areas of specialisations

• Media
• Marketing
• Advertising

Industry Immersion

As part of the curriculum each student of JICM Bhopal is expected to undergo an internship of 8 Weeks after the end of the Third Trimester. The institute will help the students in securing these internships. The students must submit a report after the completion of their internship when they return to the institute. An Academic committee would review their performance based on the evaluation by their faculty and the recruiting company.

The Students are also required to undertake a live project into their area of specialization for a period of 4 weeks in their 5^th trimester.

Accommodation

The brand new accommodation facilities comprise single or twin bedrooms, Deluxe Rooms, Air condition Rooms, bathroom facilities, spacious living room with television, kitchen, dining room (for every 20 student) and Wi-Fi access. Accommodation will eventually be available for 1,200 students, so there will be a real sense of community on campus, providing a great opportunity to socialise, make friends and get the most out of university life. Accommodation charges will include furniture and fixtures, safety and security, food, electricity, use of all facilities including membership of fitness centre.

Student Resource Centre

There is no exaggeration in saying that a resource-centre is the life line of an educational institute. It plays an important role in overall imparting of knowledge. The Resource Centre at JICM Bhopal is also built with this thought in mind.

The student resource center is in the shape of a pyramid which is known to be a very ancient design. Pyramid shaped building were built by many ancient civilizations. The structure has been considered holy, with an emphasis as a centre of knowledge and strength. Traditionally, in India too it has long association with spirituality and meditation. It is said that Shree Yantra is the inspiration for the famous Pyramid of Giza. Architecturally, the pyramid is also known for its strong structure the reason being the shape which has zero area at its apex and a base that is many a thousand times greater in area.

It is a centrally air conditioned buliding catering to all kinds of amenities to develop student’s wisdom and knowledge. The total area on which it is built is 32,000 square feet with the dimensions of the pyramid being 10 feet long, 110 feet broad and its height is nearly about 72 feet.

The area of the first floor is 10,000 square feet on which the library is housed.This floor can accommodate as many as 450 students. As of now there are close to 30,000 books which are made available to the students in the new library. Moreover, there is also an E-library extending the pool of academic resource.

The Resource Center also features a shopping centre with provisions of medicines, stationery, grocery, relax-zone, etc.

Apptite- The Food Court

The essence of any campus life can be best experienced at its cafeteria. ‘Appetite’ – the cafeteria on JICM Bhopal campus is well equipped to cater to the taste buds of all students and provides for a perfect ambience that is much required by students after a busy day in classrooms. It also serves as the most preferred location for on campus events and parties.

Sports

In addition to exquisite learning resources, JICM Bhopal campus offers students with well equipped sports facilities. The campus has a multi-functional gymnasium, a swimming pool, basketball & tennis courts as well as a ground for outdoor sports such as cricket and football.

The JICM Bhopal Management and the Student Council organizes events that cater to all interests and tastes ranging from competitive sports, indoor training, basic fitness programs to outdoor activities.

Not just this. JICM Bhopal conducts Inter-College Sports Meet where other colleges are invited to the campus for the meet. During this Meet, teams from different colleges are pitted against each other in different sports like Basketball, Swimming, Football, Cricket etc. and the team with the highest points at the last day of the event wins the Meet.

Workshops

In order to keep the learning style interesting and innovative, JICM Bhopal constantly conducts workshops for its students. These workshops are specific to the course that a student is enrolled in. Workshops give a lot of scope to the students to develop their skills and knowledge along with firsthand experience in their respective field of study.

With a vision to develop communication and management experts who will occupy commanding positions in communication policy, strategy and action, JICM, Bhopal aspires to not just teach, but also to mould and create communication and management aspirants.
