DSMS has separate hostels: Sampriti for boys and Sampurna for girls.

All the rooms at the DSMS hostels are spacious and well ventilated with plenty of sunlight. Both hostels have a multi-gym and facilities of indoor and outdoor games..

Transport services are provided for trips between the hostels and the campus.

The DSMS BBA (T&H) Course grooms you to fill responsible positions in tourism organizations, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, convention centres, air lines, cruise lines etc. And these can be spread over local, regional, national and even international areas. Tourism and Travel have not only changed from a luxury to a necessity in the national and global lifestyle. The trend towards greater affluence, the effect of more leisure time, and peak earnings predict fantastic growth for the industry in years to come.

In the public sector, there are lucrative positions in various offices of the Directorates and Departments of Tourism, Forestry and Wildlife at the state and national levels. Most of the positions here revolve around reservation officer, information officer, tourism assistant, tourist guide etc. There is ample scope to climb the ladder.

The Ministry of Tourism recognizes three types of guides - regional, state and local. A regional guide gets a two-year renewable license from the Ministry of Tourism endorsed for life by the Archeological Survey of India.

There is a need for qualified tourism professionals in the private sector - at travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels, transport and cruise companies etc.
