The result for the Punjab University (PU) Management Entrance Test (MET) are expected to be declared today, i.e on April 12th, 2016. All those candidates who have appeared for the same can check it out from the official website met.puchd.ac.in.

The Panjab University had earlier released a notification and invited online applications for the Management Entrance Test (MET). The entrance exam is conducted for admissions into MBA programmes in retails management, banking and insurance management, IT and telecommunications management, infrastructural management, pharmaceutical management and hospital management at the University Institute of Applied Management Science (UIAMS).

The exam was successfully conducted on March 12. Candidates who qualify in the written exam will then be appearing for the group discussion (GD).

Steps to check the result:

• Log on to the official website met.puchd.ac.in
• On the homepage, click on 'PU MET 2016 Results'
• Enter your registration number and other required details in the provided fields
• Click on the Submit Button
• Your result will be displayed on the screen
• Download the same and take a printout for further reference

Selection process:

The admission will be made on the basis of the entrance test (85 percent weightage), group discussion (7.5 percent weightage) and personal interview (7.5 percent weightage). The result of the entrance test will not be sent to the candidates.

The number of candidates to be called for group discussion and personal interview will be eight times the total number of seats of all these courses in each category.
