Possible reasons for not appearing in examination:
-
While commenting on the issue, UP Board Secretary Shail Yadav in an HT report said such a large number of examinees preferring not to appear for the examinations was a proof of strict measures implemented by the board to check use of unfair means.
Furthermore, reports also revealed that 100 high school examinees, 68 boys and 32 girls, were caught cheating via open books in their hands.
Re-checking of answer scripts:

-
In the rechecking process, the written papers will be re-examined by a senior examiner at the evaluation centres only
-
In addition to this, the examiner has to put his comments on the answer-sheet before finalising the marks.
