The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today i.e. 31st January 2017 announced the result for Chartered Accountants Intermediate (IPC) Examination. The candidates who had appeared for the examinations can check the results from the official website.

Earlier, the examinations was conducted in the month of November.

Kolkata boy Aayush Agarwal secured the second position with 553 marks followed by Shivkrish V from Chennai with 545 marks. However, Pune girl Rekha Ghevarram Suthar topped the examination with 559 marks.

In order to check the results, the candidates can check the steps below:

• Go to the official website
• Click on the link, 'Results of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Examination held in November, 2016 declared'
• Thereafter, the candidates can click on to 'Click here to view Result'
• Enter the Roll Number, Pin OR Registration No. & Captcha
• After submitting the same, the results will be displayed on the screen
• Take a printout for future use.

This year, a total number of 69,653 candidates appeared in the Group-I examinations, out of which 13,424 candidates cleared the examinations successfully calculating a pass percentage of 19.27. Around 18,701 candidates cleared the Group-II examinations out of 62,123 candidates calculating a pass percentage of 30.10
