Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2017

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2017 results have been declared on the official website, the link for which is xatonline.net.in.

Also, XAT 2017 was successfully held on January 8, 2017 at various test centres across the nation.

This year, the XAT 2017 was held by XLRI Jamshedpur for admission into their business management and human resource management programmes.

How to check the results:

In order to check the same, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Log on to the official website
• Click the link displaying "XAT 2017 - Score Card"
• Enter your Registration Id and Date of Birth in the space provided
• Click to Submit
• Scores will be displayed
• Take a print out of the same for future reference

The XAT score is considered for admission by more than 150 B-Schools across India.

Paper schedule:

• Part I of the test comprised three sections viz., verbal and logical ability, decision making and analytical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude and data interpretation
• Part II had questions from general knowledge and an essay to be written
• The overall duration of the test was 170 minutes for the first part and 35 minutes for the second
• All questions carried equal marks with negative marking (one fourth of a mark for a wrong answer)
• There was a negative marking of 0.05 for un-attempted questions

Selection procedure:

Those candidates who clear the sectional and overall cutoff will now be called for GD/PI and other selection rounds. The list of shortlisted candidates will now be announced in a day or two.

About the exam:

XLRI conducts XAT on behalf of the XAMI. For more than 60 years, XLRI is conducting XAT at an all India level to select the most appropriate students for management education. The XAT score is being used by more than 100 institutes for the admission process.
