Online exams to begin from May 2014 / Instructions need to follow

(BITSAT) 2014 will be held between May 2014 and June 1, online conducted for providing admissions to candidates who wish to enrol for the integrated first degree programmes offered at the Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad campuses.

BITSAT will be a three-hour multiple choice question paper carrying 150 marks. The test will be divided into four sections: Physics (40 questions), Chemistry (40 questions), English proficiency (15 questions) and logical reasoning (10 questions), Mathematics or Biology (45 questions).

List of instructions need to follow:

The candidates should reach the test venue at least 40 minutes before the commencement of exam as the personal verifications and other formalities will take time.
The candidates are not allowed to carry any personal belongings like bags, mobile, camera, electronic gadgets etc. to the test venue. Calculators and logarithmic tables will not be allowed inside the test venue.
The candidates should click on the 'I have completed the Test' button only when they want to close the test. Once the candidates confirm that they want to generate the score, they will not be allowed to go back to the test.
The candidates are required to carry the hall tickets along with them to the test venue. The candidates should paste their recent passport size photograph on the hall ticket and get it attested by Head of Institution or Gazetted officer.
On the computer monitor:
The candidates are required to type the password to login.
After the candidates confirm their name and photograph and agree to the terms and conditions of the test, they will be shown the different symbols used.
Thereafter, the candidates will have to make a selection of the part, they want to answer first.
