Government Institution of Education for Women, Hooghly was established in 1965 in Hooghly, West Bengal. The College offers regular Bachelor of Education degree program of one year duration. The college is governed by the state government and is affiliated to University of Burdwan, West Bengal. Institute of Education (PG) for Women is one of the few women’s colleges in the district of Hooghly, which provide B Ed course.
