Harishchandrapur College is located in the District of Malda in a natural, calm and quite environment beside Harishchandrapur Chanchal Highway (NH81).After a long waiting with continuous efforts and utmost enthusiasm the people of Harishchandrapur setting up a non-Govt. general degree College affiliated to the University of Gourbanga, Malda to cater the need of higher education to the deserving students both the backward communities and general category of Harishchandrapur. The College was started its journey on and from 18th August, 2008 at the village Pipla, H.C Pur Block- I, Malda, West Bengal, India.
The vision of our College is to create a learner-friendly atmosphere within the College campus and makes a healthy society by imparting advanced knowledge and education and the mission of our college is to uplift the students for all round development by some ideal practices in academic, cultural, environmental or moral affairs with sound health and mind.
Our College offers B.A Hons. and General courses with four Hons. Subjects and ten general subjects including physical education which helps the students physically strong as well as mentally fresh. In addition to the regular academic functions our co-curricular activities are fresher’s welcome, annual sports, plantation programme etc. The college strives for a high standard discipline through a dedicated, involved and committed staff.
