Health Vision & Research (HVR) was founded in 2nd February 2002 by a group of health professionals with the vision to take up Public Health, Research and training activities. Over a period of time, implementation of health programmes and livelihood promotion has become one task as an emerging need of the community.

HVR is a registered society under Society Registration Act 1961, number S/1l/7787 of 2001-2002, registered u/s 12A of the IT Act 1961 and registered under FCRA Act, Govt. of India. It is registered for exemption of tax u/s 80G (5) (VI), IT ACT 1961. HVR is empanelled organization under West Bengal State AIDS Prevention and Control Society. We are a member organization of WHO Health System Policy Research Alliance. HVR is an affiliated agency with AISECT, approved by DST, Government of India.

HVR envisages it’s far reaching role in delivering assistance to agencies implementing healthcare programmes. It foresees providing support to allied agencies in Public Health contributing to national & international human development. HVR also intends to implement some model healthcare programmes learning from which will be disseminated for replication.
