If selected for admission, such Sports persons must produce Certificate (s) in Original from appropriate authority, which will be adequately verified from such authority before admitting those sports persons. If at the time of verification, any of those certificates are found to be false, admission shall be cancelled and complaint will be lodged in the appropriate forum.

In case of certification by MP/MLA/Municipal Councilor/Panchayat Member etc student must be a resident of the Constituency/Ward/Panchayat etc which is being represented by that certifying authority.
All Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/OBC Students must ensure that they will submit their original Castes certificates, issued by competent authorities such as Backward Classes Welfare Department, West Bengal. If any candidate fails to submit her/his caste certificate at the time of admission, she/he must submit the same within three months from the date of admission, failing which her/his admission shall be liable to be cancelled.

Admission Qualifications
A candidate who has passed the higher secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination is eligible to seek admission to the 1st year of the 3-year B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com. (Honours & General) Course of Studies provided he/she has also passed in English having full marks not being less than 100.
However, no candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 5 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination of recognized regular course of study (Year of Passing must not be before 2012).
Explanation : The year of Admission shall not be taken into account while calculating Five years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.
Migration : Students who have passed the Higher Secondary ( 10+2) Examination or its equivalent from the All India Boards/Councils (i.e. CBSE, ISC and National Institute of Open Schooling) need not require to submit Migration Certificate for getting Registration under the University.
