Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) (4-year duration)

Eligibility & Admission Procedure:

  • H.S. (10+2) examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or equivalent
  • Qualified in Joint Entrance Examination conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board / Central Board of Secondary Education and recommended by the WBJEE Board
  • 80% seats to be filled up by JEE candidates, 10% by JEE (Main) candidates and 10% under Management Quota for candidates qualified through WBJEE / JEE (Main)
  • Lateral Entry of diploma holders and B.Sc. degree holders through JELET conducted by the WBJEE Board, in the 2nd year with an additional intake of 20% of the approved intake.

Documents Required at the time of admission to B.Tech:

  • An attested copy of allotment papers clearly showing alloted stream as well as Institute along with the money receipt issued by WBJEE Board against token money for spot admission (2 Copies).
  • Attested copy of Income Certificate from the appropriate authority (for students admitted under tution fees Waiver category & West Bengal Freeship Scheme)
  • Attested copy of Caste Certificate (Compulsory for SC / ST /OBC candidates)
  • Photocopy (Xerox) of WBJEE / JEE (Main) admit card along with rank card
  • Attested copy of Age Proof Certificate
  • Attested copy of 10th or equivalent mark sheet
  • Attested copy of 12th or equivalent mark sheet
  • Original Medical fitness Certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner
  • Original Eye Certificate regarding "No Clour Blindness" from a registered Eye Specialist
  • Photocopy (Xerox) of Blood Group Certificate

Masters of Computer Application (MCA)

Eligibility:

  • Admissions are made from candidates who have passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline under (10+2+3) system with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level or at graduate level and having at least 50% marks on an average in the graduation level.
  • Such candidates will have to be qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination (JECA) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board and recommended by the Board.
  • There is a provision of up to 10% of seats to be filled up through Management Quota.

Admission Procedure:

  • Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of the six-semester MCA course are required to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examination (JECA) for admission to Master of Computer Application conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.

  • Self attested copy of allotment papers (2 sets) along with the money receipt issued by WBJEE Board
  • Self attested copy of Caste Certificate (Compulsory for SC / ST /OBC candidates)
