Hiralal Bhakat College, Birbhum was established in 1986 by the untiring effort of some educated people and the donation of huge some of money by Late Hiralal Bhakat, a respected businessman of Nalhati. It is now one of the leading college of Birbhum district. It helps the poor students to achieve their goal. It is a Private Aided College and received UGC affiliation in the year 1987.
