Eligibility Criteria : (For 1st Year)

General Candidates must pass H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination, with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together (40% for SC/ST/PH candidates) (as per AICTE norms) and with at least 30% marks in English (for all category of candidates) with Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Vernacular (or any fifth subject). 80% of the total seats shall be filled up from the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (JEM) and 10% from All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) respectively. Remaining 10% seats shall be filled up under Management Quota.

For Diploma Holders:

Passed Diploma Examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% for SC / ST / PH candidates).

For B.Sc. Degree Holders:

Passed B.Sc. Degree form recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% for SC / ST / PH candidates) and passed XII standered with Mathematics as a subject.
