Seats for Political Science, History and Sociology as General Subjects are limited. Since the number of seats in Women’s Studies as a General subject is restricted to 22, admission to the course will be at the discretion of the college authorities.

Two languages have to be selected of which English is Compulsory with Bengali/Urdu/Hindi. Alternative English to be offered as a subject who did not have Bengali/Urdu/Hindi at Class X level. For those opting for Computer Science as General subject should have Mathematics and Physics at H.S. level. Seats for Statistics as General Subject are limited.
