M.R.C.C. College of Technical Education is established on 18.10.1981 by Prof.Shyamapada Paul, M.Sc, Ph.D, D.M.S with the inspiration of Late Rusi.B.Gimi, a great philanthropist and eminent social worker and HE T.N.Singh, the than Gandhian Governor of West Bengal. The college is affilated to West Bengal University of Technology and approved by AICTE. It is non-profit social organization devoted to the cause of welfare of the disabled.

Society Registration on 8.02.1982, Out door clinic started on 14th April’1982.
Governor of West Bengal HE B.D.Pande opened Indoor Dept. on 17th July, 1983 MRCC got registration under FCR-ACT of Govt.of India on January’1985.

Since its inception, following the path of self reliance in accordance with the wishes of the Gandhian Governor Tribhuban Narayan Singh, MRCC has been run for the disabled, solely on public donation and charity.
