Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2018 : Registrations to begin from December 18
The Commissionerate of School Education (CSE), Andhra Pradesh will start the online submission of application forms for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2018 from
December 18. The last date to apply for the same would be
January 1.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh's Human Resource Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao declared the tentative schedule for the APTET 2018.
Further, the APTET exams would be conducted from
January 17 to January 27, as reported by Indian Express.
Eligibility criteria :

APTET Paper I which will be conducted for classes I to V

Interested candidates should be intermediate or Class 12 pass from a recognised board or university with a pass in 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd)/2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognised university or instituite.

APTET Paper II which will be conducted for classes VI to VIII

All the candidates interested in applying for the same need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Education from a recognised university/institute.

The APTET 2018 will have 2 papers

Also, Paper I and Paper II will be computer based tests comprising of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers

Candidates will be given 2 and a half hours to attempt the same. The exam would be held in 2 sessions i.e. 9:30 am to 12 noon and 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
