IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2018 : Important instructions for exam
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Clerical preliminary exam is scheduled to be held from
December 2 to December 10.
The preliminary exam will consist of 3 following sections :

English language
-
Numerical ability
-
Reasoning ability
No. of questions :
The exam will comprise 100 marks and held for a duration of 1 hour.

English language : 30 questions
-
Numerical ability : 35 questions

Reasoning ability : 35 questions
Note :
As per the official notification, "Candidates will have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for online main examination."
Following are instructions to be followed by the candidates during the exam :

Reach the exam centre before time

Carry your call letter for the respective date and session of exam

Photo-identity proof (as specified) in original bearing the same name as it was on the call letter/application form

Photocopy of photo-identity proof

Candidates should keep in mind that negative marking is applicable, 0.25 or one fourth marks will be deducted for each wrong question. If a question is left blank then there will be no negative marking.
