JEE Main 2017 - Important Instructions to be followed.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting JEE Main online exam on April 8 and April 9.
Following are the important instructions that students should follow during examination:
-
Read all the exam related instructions carefully before you begin so that you are thorough with the guidelines
-
Begin with your most preferred subject: The subject names are likely to appear on the top left corner of the computer screen. Select the subject with which you would prefer to begin. Post which the question palette will appear on the right section of the computer screen
-
Questions palette helps to directly go to a question by clicking on the question number. You can see all the pages of the question paper by clicking on a link that will possibly be on the top right corner of the computer screen
-
Use the power of technology in your favour: Firstly, you will have the option to mark those questions that you wish to review later (there could be two types of situations: one could be, you have answered a question but you want to review it later to be certain and the other could be, not answered but you want to review to see if you could solve with little effort, if time permits). Those marked question will appear with a color code on the questions palette. So, later on you could directly visit those questions by clicking on the question numbers
-
Secondly, marked answers could be changed at the time of review (which is otherwise not possible in OMR based exam). Even marked answer could be cleared if you wish to leave a question and avoid taking chances
-
-
Remember to "save" your answer responses by clicking on "Save & Next" button: Always remember to click on "save and next" button after you have marked the answer option and before proceeding to the next question else answer will not be saved and it will be treated as "not answered"
-
Don't overstretch yourself in last 24 hours: Be relaxed and keep calm. Avoid late night study on the night before the exam
-
Eat healthy and sleep well.
