The Fellow Programme of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is a full-time doctoral programme offered in various specializations in management and related disciplines. Eligibility

An applicant to the Fellow Program is required to have:
EITHER
First Class Master's degree in any discipline or CA with minimum 50% marks or CS/CMA with minimum 55% marks and a three-year Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the aggregate;
OR
First Class Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Non-engineering candidates who have undergone 10+2+5 years will be considered eligible to apply for the Fellow Programme. CMA(USA) candidates are also eligible to apply for the Fellow Programme.

In addition, applicant must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in either the Secondary or the Higher Secondary Examination of a Board (or equivalent).

A final-year student appearing for the Bachelor's degree examination in Engineering or Master's degree examination in any discipline can also apply. Such a candidate, if selected, will be provisionally admitted provided (s)he completes all requirements for obtaining the degree before 30th June 2019. Admission of the candidate will remain provisional until (s)he produces mark sheets proving that (s)he satisfies the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year degree mark sheets is 31st December 2019.

50% of the seats in the programme are reserved for the reserved categories.

Financial Aid

• No Tuition Fee charged
• Stipend : Rs. 30,000-35,000 per month
• Up to Rs. 11,000 per month for Teaching Assistantship as per rules in addition to monthly stipend
• Annual Contingency Grant of Rs. 25,000
• Computer Grant of Rs. 40,000
• Support up to Rs. 50,000 for Fieldwork
• Full support for upto three international conference attendance anywhere in the world
• Doctoral students are usually provided accommodation in the campus on payment. Some residential facilities are also available for married students.

Admission Criteria

Applicant for the Doctoral Fellowship Programme are required to submit CAT or other scores in lieu of CAT as specified below: Validity of Score (other than CAT)
Two years from the date of test and should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form.

How to Apply

An applicant can apply to a maximum of two Areas of Specialization. Applicant are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/-. SC/ST/OBC/PWD applicant submitting attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PWD certificate does not have to pay Application Fee. Applications will be received from November 02^nd 2018 to January 27^th 2019.
