Selection Process

Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) announces admissions to its flagship two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM). The programme is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and IRMA is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
  • IRMA will be shortlisting and calling applicants in two ways:
    • Merit-based Calls: Candidates who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process.
    • Profile-cum-merit based Calls: Candidates who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2018/XAT 2019 and fall in the Profile-based call criteria will be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process. The key criteria to shortlist candidates based on profile are: (i) Excellence: Graduation from Top universities and Colleges, (ii) Work Experience in Social Impact, Community Development, Livelihoods, Policy and Advocacy, Agriculture and Allied sectors; (iii) Graduation in Social sciences, Development studies, Agriculture and Allied sciences.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for selection process at IRMA where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2019 (IRMASAT 2019), Group Activity and Personal Interview.
    IRMASAT 2019, GA and PI process will be conducted at IRMA.

Jurisdiction:
The entire admission process at the Institute shall be subject to the Jurisdiction of the Courts of Anand.

Instructions

  • You are requested to refer the selection process before filling the application form.
  • You need to register with your valid e-mail ID.
  • You need to mention your name as given in your graduation certificate / mark-sheet.
  • Please ensure that correct information is entered prior to final submission. Please follow the sequence of all stages after editing (do not skip any stage) to ensure proper data entry. Any editing is possible before final submission. After final submission, it will not be possible to edit the application form.
  • Please upload scanned or digital copy of your photograph and signature (Maximum size: 512 KB) at the appropriate place in the form.
  • Please upload the scanned copy of your latest OBC (Non creamy) / SC / ST / DAP category certificate as applicable (Maximum size: 1 MB).
  • Please also upload the scanned copy of your mark sheets of 10th, 12th and graduation. Also upload your graduation certificate, Sports certificate, extra-curricular certificate and work experience certificate (whichever applicable) (Maximum size: 1 MB).
  • Sponsored applicants are required to upload sponsoring certificate as per the format available on IRMA website (www.irma.ac.in).
  • In your own interest, you should keep a copy of the filled-in application form.
  • Application form fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • IRMA reserves the right for selecting applicants.
  • Mere fulfilling eligibility requirement will not guarantee for shortlisting for the next stage.
  • Jurisdiction: The entire admission process at the Institute shall be subject to the Jurisdiction of the Courts of Anand.
  •  IRMA Query Management System:
    Applicants are strongly advised to use the IRMA Query Management System (IRMA-QMS), rather than an email, to get a quick response.

Notes:
  • The fee structure for Certificate in Rural Management (CRM) is equivalent to the fee structure of the First Academic Year.
  • There may be upward revision of the tuition fees and service fees.
  • Mess is managed by the students’ body. Boarding and personal expenses will be over and above the mentioned fee. Currently average monthly expenses of the mess is around Rs. 4,500/-.
  • You are also require to pay Rs. 3,000/- towards Students Activity Fund in the IRMA Student Mess at the time of joining.
  • Please note that medical expenses mentioned above are to meet only the cost of services provided by the campus doctor and the Group Health Insurance of Rs. 1,00,000/- taken by IRMA from any Insurance Company. Any other expenses have to be borne by the student.
