SSC CGL Tier I Exam 2017 : Revised cut-offs Released

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently revised the cut-offs for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I exam 2017. Candidates can check the cut-offs on the official website, ssc.nic.in

Revised cut-offs :

After repeatedly postponing the Tier II exam, SSC has come up with a fresh result list for the Tier I exam. With lower cut off marks this time (close to 4 or 5 marks per category), 39,434 more candidates have made it to the Tier II exam list, as reported by NDTV.

  • Cut-off for general category : 126.5
  • Cut-off for OBC category : Maximum cut-off being 110

Post-wise number of candidate for Tier II :

  • JSO : 14,515 candidates
  • AAO : 21,946 candidates
  • General category : 55,387 candidates

About SSC :

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established in November 4, 1975. The organisation works under the Government of India and recruits staff for several posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. It is headquartered at New Delhi. Presently, there are seven regional offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh. Each regional office is headed by a Regional Director and each sub-regional office is headed by a Deputy-Director.
