#Upto 20% seats shall be filled through Board Merit / CLAT / L-SAT India Category. In case, any seat remaining vacant UPES has the right to fill such seats through UPES Entrance Exam.

Non Examination Pathway - LAW Programs through Board Merit/ CLAT Merit/ L-SAT India Merit#

CLAT Merit / L-SAT India Merit
For BA LLB (Hons.) / BBA LLB (Hons.) / B.Com, LLB (Hons.) - Candidates with minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th) and CLAT ranking upto 10000/ L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude test and will be invited directly for GD and Interview.
For B.Tech. + LLB (Hons.) Candidates with minimum 60% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th), minimum 60% Marks in PCM at Senior Secondary Level (12th) and CLAT ranking upto 10000/ L-SAT India score of 60 percentile or above will be exempted from UPES-EAT and admissions through Merit Ranking.

Board Merit
For BA LLB (Hons.) / BBA LLB (Hons.) / B.Com. LLB (Hons) - Candidates with 85% marks in 10th and 12th best of five subjects (English as one of the compulsory paper) are exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test (UL-SAT) and will be invited directly for GD and Interview.
For B.Tech. + LLB (Hons.) Candidates with minimum 80% marks in 10th, 12th and 12th PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Maths) are exempted from UPES-EAT and admissions will be through Merit Ranking.
Age Criteria
Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1996 are eligible to apply for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

Candidates placed in compartment are not eligible for admission to any program of study in the University.

Process for ULSAT 2018

Important Instructions for ULSAT : ULSAT will be conducted on 05 May 2018 (Saturday) as Paper Based Test (PBT) and on 12 May 2018 (Sunday) as Computer Based Test (CBT)

Process for PBT : All candidates applied for ULSAT will be given the first option as to appear in the pen paper test (PBT). The last date to apply for ULSAT is 25 April 2018 (Wednesday).

PROCESS FOR CBT : Those candidates who are registered for PBT but are absent for the same, will be intimated by SMS/Email/Telephone on the following day i.e., 6 May 2018 (Sunday), about the option to register for CBT by visiting the UPES website. They would be required to choose the test city for CBT from the given list only. The link for applying for CBT will be activated by 6 May 2018 (Sunday).

Test cities for CBT : The ULSAT computer based test (CBT) will be conducted in the select cities* only depending on the number of registrations received. These select cities names are : Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Varanasi.
*Note: Candidate have to opt for two cities as choice one and choice two for the CBT. In case of less registration in any cities mentioned above, University reserves the right to cancel the test city center and allot one of the test center opted for.

Admit Cards for CBT : All registered candidates for CBT are advised to download admit card from UPES website www.upes.ac.in website from 9 May 2018 (Wednesday), 5 PM onwards.

Computer Based Test : 12 May 2018 onwards*.
*If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 12 May 2018 itself.
