AIIMS MBBS 2017 Exam - Important Notice

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)-New Delhi is all set to conduct the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS-2017) entrance exam on Sunday, May 28, 2017.

Meanwhile, the institute has released an official notification allowing candidates to make corrections in the 'Online Application Form.'

All the candidates should note that final status of uploaded deficiencies can be done till March 15 (5 pm).

Further, status can be checked on March 27.

Steps to make corrections:

  • Log on to the official website
  • Click on relevant link
  • Enter the candidate ID, password and the captcha in the space provided
  • Fill in all the details in a prescribed format
  • Click to submit.

Selection procedure:

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.

Paper pattern:

  • It will be a computer based test
  • The duration of the examination will be of 3 hours 30 minutes
  • Examination will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason-assertion type) questions from physics, chemistry, biology and general knowledge
  • For each correct answer, candidates will get one mark
  • There would be negative marking
  • No credit will be given for the questions not answered.

  • AIIMS MBBS exam will be held on: Sunday, May 28, 2017
  • Date of declaration of result: Wednesday, June 14, 2017
