The Kerala State Eligibility Test (Kerala SET 2017) admit cards have been released at the official website, the link for which is http://www.lbskerala.com/

According to reports, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 12, 2017 for appointment as higher secondary school teachers and non-vocational teachers in vocational higher secondary department

A pass in the State Eligibility Test (SET) is stipulated as a mandatory requirement for appointment as higher secondary school teachers in the state as per the special rules in force.

Steps to download the admit cards:

• Log on to the official website
• Click on the link, 'STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST - FEB-2017'
• Click on the link for 'Download Admit Card'
• Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth
• Download admit cards
• Take print out of the same for future reference

SET 2017 will consist of the two following papers:

Paper I : The exam will comprise 120 questions based general knowledge and aptitude in teaching.

Paper II : The exam will consist of 120 questions based on the subject of specialisation of the candidate at the post graduate (PG) level. There shall be 35 subjects for paper II.

There shall be 35 subjects for Paper II of the SET as mentioned: Anthropology, Arabic, botany, chemistry, commerce, economics, English, French, Gandhian studies, geography, geology, German, Hindi, history, home science, Islamic history, journalism, Kannada, Latin, Malayalam, mathematics, music, philosophy, physics, political science, psychology, Russian, Sanskrit, social work, sociology, statistics, Syriac, Tamil, Urdu and zoology.
