M.Sc. Programme 2010
- The Faculty of Post-graduate Studies is autonomous, affiliated to the University of Calcutta and the degree certificate is awarded by the University.
- M.Sc. courses comprising four semesters, each of six months duration are offered by the college in Botany and Chemistry only.
ADMISSION SCHEDULE :
- The Admission Test for the 2010 session will be held on Saturday, 10 July 2010:
Batch 01: 10.00 am to 1.00 pm
Batch 02: 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm - Syllabus –The B.Sc. (Hons.) syllabus of Calcutta University.
- Selection: Merit list according to admission test.
- Eligibility for Admission Test: Appeared for the final year B.Sc. (Hons.) examination in 2010.
- Final result to be submitted at the time of admission.
- All applicants must sit for the admission test (General/Reserved).
- Minimum requirement for admission :
- Selection via merit list.
- 50% marks in the B.Sc (Hons) Examination.
- For reserved category Pass marks (40% in CU) in the B.Sc (Hons) Examination.
- Submission of application : Application forms duly completed to be submitted in the office along with the xerox copy of the Bank deposit of application fee.
- Dates for Submission : Applications to be submitted between 16.06.2010 to 30.06.2010 (Between 10.30 a.m to 3.00 p.m on weekdays)

APPLICATION FEE :
An application fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) must be paid. Payment may be made at Allahabad Bank Beadon Street Branch A/C No- 20805236852.
The counterfoil of the bank payment slip must be produced at the time of submission of the admission application form at the college counter and in the examination hall.
ADMIT CARD :
The counterfoil of the application form containing a photograph of the applicant, duly stamped with the college seal will serve as the Admit Card for the admission test. The same Admit card will be required during admission, if selected.
The application form number will be the candidate’s Examination Roll Number.
