Eligibility for Applying
(subject to modification as prescribed by the NCTE and Calcutta University)
Following are the eligibility criteria for applying, as per NCTE :
- Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree or in the Master's degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.

The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks in favour of the reserved categories shall be as per the .
rules of the concerned Government. [Source - NCTE norms (August,2009), Appendix -4].
NOTE: Candidates from other universities having studied a particular subject of 800 marks or more may declare themselves as Honours in that subject. Applicants of other universities will be considered as Pass candidates (not as Honours) unless otherwise specified.
