Minimum Eligibility to apply :

• Candidates who have passed in the B.Sc. (Hons) examination in the year 2012 are eligible to apply.
• For the General Merit category - Applicants must have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate at the undergraduate level (50% marks in the BSc (Hons) Examination) to be eligible to apply in the General Merit category.
• For the Reservation category - Pass marks at the undergraduate level (B.Sc (Hons.) Examination).
• Candidates for MSc Chemistry must have passed in Mathematics & Physics as Elective subjects at the undergraduate level.

Documents to be produced at the time of Admission :

• Receipt of Application Fee: Original.
• Proof of Date of Birth: Original & One Attested Copy.
• Mark-sheets (SF/HS/BSc): Original & One Attested Copy.
• SC/ST/PH/Christianity certificate of the applicant (Wherever Applicable): Original & One Attested Copy.
• Two copies of recent photograph. (passport size).
• Eligibility Certificate from Calcutta University for applicants outside West Bengal Universities.
