8th Admission Schedule for Admission in B. A. /B. Sc. Honours and General Courses will be held according to the schedule given below:

Time to report at college office :
Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Candidates with Rank falling in the range as specified in the table given below ONLY need to come for admission. Candidates failing to take admission on the above mentioned dates shall not get scope of taking admission in future. No request will be entertained regarding this matter.
Admission is subject to compliance with the eligibility criteria and verification of original documents. Candidature of an applicant is liable to be cancelled if any entry is found wrong or not complying with the requirement of the college.
Candidates willing to take admission must bring with them
- Original receipt of the challan against which application fee was deposited
- A printed copy of their application (Candidate should fill up/correct fields left blank/ wrong with ball point pen)
- Original copy of the Mark-sheet of the qualifying examination (H.S. or equivalent) and two photocopies of it
- Original copy of age-proof (Admit Card of Madhyamik Examination or equivalent) and two photocopies of it
- Three stamp-sized colour photographs
- For SC/ST candidates only: Original SC/ST certificates issued by Govt. of West Bengal. SC/ST candidates of states other than West Bengal are not eligible for admission in the reserved category.
- For Christian candidates only: Baptism certificate have to be furnished
- For Sports category candidates only: Proper documents indicating participation in district level/state level/national level have to be furnished
- A list of few (at least three) ‘Subject Combinations’ of their choice prepared according to preference
Next notice regarding admission will be published on 22nd July, 2014.
The admission on a particular day may be postponed in case of exigency of circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria
Marks obtained in the top four subjects except ENVS shall be considered to ascertain the aggregate marks. The candidates must have passed in English of Full marks 100 in the last qualifying examination.
Honours Course
(Only WBCHSE/ISC/CBSE regular* candidates of 2014 can apply)
*Regular Candidates are those who have appeared for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2014.

S.C. /S.T. Applicants: 40% in aggregate OR 40% marks in the subject or related subject. Candidates with valid SC/ST certificate will only be considered.
Christian Applicants: 50% in aggregate and 45% in subject or related subject OR 55% in subject or related subject. Candidates are required to submit photocopy of Baptism certificate at college office within 18th June 2014, failing which their applications may not be considered.
General Course
(Candidates passed from C.U. recognized Boards/Councils in 2014/ 2013 can only apply)
| B.Sc.(BIO-SCIENCE) | : | must have passed in Biologyand any one of Chemistry or Physics. Minimum 45% marks in English if opting for Microbiology in B. Sc. course. |
| B.Sc.(PURE) | : | must have passed in Physics and Mathematics. |
| B. A. | : | Students who have passed HS or equivalent examination. Also 50% in English if Bengali/English is NOT is first language (Only for General Category candidates). |
S.C. /S.T. /Christian candidates are required to submit photocopy of valid SC/ST certificate / Baptism certificate at the time of admission.
