Spot counseling for admission of candidates from the merit list of WBJEE-2017 [West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination] against the following vacant seats of the 1st Semester, B.Tech. (Agril. Engg.) Course will be held at the premises of the Viswavidyalaya (BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia for the academic session 2017-2018 as per the following schedule. The candidates having the following valid rank of WBJEE - 2017 are eligible for spot counseling.

Only interested and eligible candidates along with all the following documents (in original) and also with one (1) photocopy each of the documents duly self-attested and Rs. 5000/- (in cash) and fulfilling all the specified criteria(s) are required to enter in to the hall of Spot-Counseling positively within the specified schedule. Candidates will not be allowed (strictly) under any circumstances into the hall of counseling beyond the specified time. Eligible candidates must fulfill the following criteria and also other criteria as specified by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board [www.wbjeeb.in and www.wbjeeb.nic.in] for admission through the spot counseling.

Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination, i.e “10+2” examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks(In both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.

Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above three subjects taken together.

Must have passed English in the „10+2? examination with at least 30% marks.

The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
Admission of the candidates full-filling all the specified criteria will be made through counseling based on the merit [WBJEE-2017-Rank-category wise] and
subject to the availability of seats.
