Admission Criteria & Selection Procedure

• Energy Management :
  The minimum qualification for admission to the Course is a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Science / Business Administration or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Law or its equivalent from any University recognized by the University of Calcutta.
  
  Although such graduates are eligible to apply for MBA-PS Courses, however preference for specialization is given to the graduates as indicated below:
  B.E. / B.Tech. in Engineering, AMIE, Science Graduate (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics) / Bachelor in Business Administration or Bachelor / Master in Computer Applications.
  
  The applicants for the admission to the MBA-PS Course are required to take MAT / CAT / CMAT / JEMAT / GATE / GMAT. The candidates short listed on the basis of cut-off-marks in the above selection tests would be required to appear for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IISWBM, Kolkata. The final selection of candidates will be strictly on the basis of merit.
• Environment Management :
  The minimum qualification for admission to the Course is a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Science / Business Administration or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (especially Chemical, Civil and Mining) / Technology / Law or its equivalent from any University recognized by the University of Calcutta.
  
  The applicants for the admission to the MBA-PSCourse are required to take MAT / CAT / CMAT / JEMAT / GATE / GMAT. The candidates short listed on the basis of cut-off-marks in the above selection tests would be required to appear for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IISWBM, Kolkata. The final selection of candidates will be strictly on the basis of merit.
• Healthcare & Hospital Management :
  The minimum qualification for admission to the Course is a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Science / Commerce / Business Administration or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medical Science / Law or its equivalent from any University recognized by the University of Calcutta.
  
  Although such graduates are eligible to apply for MBA-PS Courses, however preference for specialization is given to the graduates as indicated below:
  MBBS, AYUSH, BDS, BPT, B.OPTM. Bachelor in Business Administration, Nursing, Law Graduates or equivalent in Pharmacy, Science, Economics, Commerce and Engineering.
  
  The applicants for the admission to the MBA-PS Course are required to take MAT / CAT / CMAT/ JEMAT/ GATE/ GMAT. The candidates short listed on the basis of cut-off-marks in the above selection tests would be required to appear for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IISWBM, Kolkata. The final selection of candidates will be strictly on the basis of merit.
  
  ** The Candidates for Health Care & Hospital Management may have to take a screening test in basic aptitude in Mathematics, proficiency and communicative English language ability.
• Transportation & Logistics Management :
  The minimum qualification for admission to the Course is a Bachelor's Degree with Honours Science / Commerce / Arts / Business Administration or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Law or its equivalent from any University recognized by the University of Calcutta.
  
  The applicants for the admission to the MBA-PS Course are required to take MAT / CAT / CMAT / JEMAT / GATE/ GMAT. The candidates short listed on the basis of cut-off-marks in the above selection tests would be required to appear for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IISWBM, Kolkata. The final selection of candidates will be strictly on the basis of merit.

Admission Process

Option - I

Download the DL Form, Admission Brochure and IISWBM / State Bank of India Power Jyoti A/c No. 32495656710 Challan and deposit the amount specified for the particular course to any branch of State Bank of India against the Challan and DL Form duly filled in. Send the completed DL Form with the course specific column duly entered by the State Bank of India alongwith the IISWBM's copy of Power Jyoti A/c. No. 32495656710 Challan to the Institute. A scanned copy of the completed DL Form alongwith a scanned copy of the receipted counter foil of the Challan meant for IISWBM of S.B.I. Power Jyoti Account No. 32495656710 should also be sent by e-mail (admissions2013@iiswbm.edu) for record purpose. No application will be entertained if the form reaches the Institute after the mentioned last date.

Option - II

Collect from the reception counter of IISWBM Application Form and Admission Brochure against cash payment of the amount specified for the particular course. Follow the mentioned last date for issue and submission of the completed admission forms.
