for Admission to
Ph.D. Programme in Physiology
Department of Physiology

Applications are invited for admission to Ph.D. programme in the Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta in the prescribed form downloadable from the University of Calcutta website (Admission Notice). Filled in application form, together with self-attested photocopies of certificates and mark-sheets, are to be submitted at the office of Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta, 92 Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road, Kolkata-700 009, along with the money receipt indicating payment of Rs. 100/-, in the prescribed challan endorsed by the HoD.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Human Ohysiology or equivalent.

The candidates will have to appear in a written examination and interview to be held in the department. The syllabus of the written examination may be downloaded from the website.

Candidates with M.Phil. or qualified in NET/SET/GATE/or equivalent need not appear in written test, but will have to appear in the interview.

Total number of seats available = 47.

The number of candidates who may be selected if found suitable, is not more than Fourty Seven (47), including reservations as per the West Bengal State Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Rules, 2013.

• Last Date of submission of forms : June 20, 2017 (Tuesday).
• Date of Examination : June 28, 2017 (Wednesday, 12:00 Noon).
• Date of Interview : July 14, 2017 (Friday, 1:00 P.M.)
