NOTICE FOR REVISED DATES
for Candidates applied under PD category for admission to B.Ed. Course 2016-2017

Candidates applied under PD category for admission to B.Ed. Course for the session 2016-17 are advised to follow the guidelines given below.

• Person with disability above 40% or more will only be considered for admission under PD category under PWD (Equal Opportunity, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.
• The selection will be made in accordance with the provisional merit order of eligible applicants based on 50% weightage on the academic performance (as per the selection criteria of the concerned department as mentioned earlier) and 50% weightage on the percentage of disability in the 40%-100% scale.
• Applicants under PD category will have to appear before an expert committee constituted by the University, on 26/7/2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Prof. Anita Banerjee Memorial Hall (Ground Floor, U.G. Arts Building), Jadavpur University (Main Campus). They are advised to bring their original Disability certificate and Handicapped I-Card issued by the relevant authority.
• The Provisional merit list will be published on 26/7/2016 after 6:00 P.M.
