Online Application (From 26 May 2017 to 15 June 2017, 2:00 P.M.)

Courses to be offered from 2017-18
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. Honours)
- Bachelor in Management Studies (B.M.S. Honours)

General Information

No candidate shall be eligible for admission after a lapse of more than three years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination. The year of admission will not be taken into account while calculating 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.

A student must have studied and passed in English in the +2 level. Admission of students failing in English or not having English as a paper will be cancelled (excluding the foreign students for whom there is a separate set of rules).
  • Aggregate is calculated with 4 subjects at plus 2 level including the compulsory subjects as indicated in the eligibility criteria for application and the subjects having the maximum marks from the rest of the subjects.
  • The following subjects must not be included in the calculation of aggregate:
    Agriculture Entrepreneurship Fashion Designing Music
    Art / Fine Arts Environmental Education Fashion Studies Physical Education
    Dance Environmental Science Heritage Craft SUPW
    Electricity Environmental Studies Home Science Painting
  • Every applicant must fulfil the eligibility criteria as laid down for each course.
  • The student must have passed in all the papers as per the respective board/council pass marks.
  • The student must have obtained minimum 45% marks in each of the 4 subjects included in the aggregate calculation.
  • Marks in all subjects indicated in the plus 2 level mark sheet must be entered in the application form.
  • Students passing the GCE examination of the UK are eligible for admission only if they have passed with two 'A' Levels and three 'O' levels. Such candidates must have completed and passed the "A" level examination at the time of application. Candidates with projected mark sheets are not eligible.
  • Students from foreign countries need to produce their English Proficiency certificate (TOEFL, IELTS) if the instruction of study in the qualifying examination is not in English medium at the time of admission.

The University reserves to right to reject the candidature and/or cancel the application / admission at any stage, if an applicant fails to fulfil the above conditions.

Note:
Sponsored category includes those students who may be sponsored by a company, society, trust or individual. For each case, a letter of guarantee will be required from the sponsor for the payment of fees.

Fee structure of foreign students:
(i) SAARC Countries: same as Indian non-sponsored category students
(ii) Other Asian countries: 2 times of the non-sponsored category
(iii) All other foreign countries: 3 times of the non-sponsored category

Instructions to the candidates for admission test:
  • Candidate is required to take his/her seat in the examination hall 45 minutes before the commencement of examination.
  • Candidate is required to carry the acknowledgement slip with the photograph pasted and self-attested (as per the instructions printed on the acknowledgement slip).
  • Candidate is required to carry any one of the following documents (original as well as one self attested photocopy) as identity proof:
    • Aadhar Card or
    • Passport or
    • Voter Identity card or
    • Driving license
    Please note that self-attested photocopy of this identity proof is to be submitted at the time of verification.
  • Candidate is to carry (i) HB pencils; (ii) Eraser; (iii) Ball point pen with black ink

Application for Sponsored Candidates

Candidates who wish to apply under sponsored category are requested to follow the instructions mentioned herein. The procedure must be completed between 8th and 14th June for Post Graduate applicants and between 12th and 19th June for Under Graduate applicants.
  • It is mandatory for the sponsored candidates to complete the online application procedure and appear for the admission test.
  • The Sponsor / Sponsoring Body should fill in the sponsorship application form and submit the same to the office of the Registrar with letter of consent stating that the Sponsor / Sponsoring body agrees to sponsor the candidate by paying all the fees (as mentioned under the 'sponsored category' fee structure) for the entire course as notified.
  • If the Sponsor is an individual, a self-attested copy of a valid Government approved identity proof is to be submitted along with the letter of consent.
  • If the candidate is listed under the sponsored category, the Sponsor or a competent authority of the Sponsoring Body will be required to be present along with the candidate at the time of admission.
  • List of candidates under the sponsored category will be published on 30th June 2017.
