West Bengal University of Health Sciences - Admission to Diploma in Family Medicine 2017

Admission to Diploma in Family Medicine
Session : 2017-2019

Two years comprehensive full time Diploma in Family Medicine course for the session 2017-2019 shall be conducted by IHFW, Govt. of W.B. in collaboration with RCGP, UK. The course has been approved by the Department of Health and Family Welfare (HF/O/MERT/1514/W-103/14 dated the 18th November, 2014) and affiliated under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). The Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Saltlake, Kolkata being the nodal institute shall conduct the course and all clinical teaching and training would be conducted at the State Medical Colleges.
Course Offered : Diploma in Family Medicine
Duration : Two Academic Years
Number of Seats : 24 (12 In-service (WBHS) and 12 non-service candidates).
In-service candidate would be given government sponsorship and placed on TR during the study period.
Eligibility : Minimum educational qualification shall be MBBS from MCI recognized Institutions.
Course Fee : The Course does not require any tuition charges.
Stipend : Only for the non-service candidates subject to the availability of funds.
Bond : As per the existing Govt. rules.
Method of Selection : Shortlisted candidates have to appear in written examination / interview conducted by the selection committee.

Application Form is to be downloaded from the websites,

Application Form duly filled in is to be submitted to the office of the Controller of Examinations, WBUHS, DD-36, Sec-I, Salt Lake, Kolkata - 700 064 along with a Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of "The West Bengal University of Health Sciences".

Last date of submission is 12.09.2017.
