Weightage & Exemptions

Achievements in Sports : Weightage upto 5%.
Representation at International, National and State level. Representation of University at Inter University level.
Winner/Runnersup in Sports organised by - Directorate College Education or first, second and third position in Single Event.

Extra Curricular Activities : Weightage upto 6%.
For NCC/Scout Guide student, achieving All India Best Cadet Award or first/second position in Republic day parade and Para jumping course and adventure mountaineering course.
Student awarded National/State Level N.S.S. award, certificate for participation in Republic day parade in Delhi organised by Youth & Sports Ministry, Govt. of India. 240 Hrs. services in National Motivation Camp and Special camp.
Participation in National Level Cultural Activities will be given special weightage in admission.

Concession and Exemptions in Fee:

• Winners in National Level Sports will be given total fee (college fees) exemption after trials.
• Renewal of exemption will be subject to performance appraisal.
• Fee exemption between 50 to 100% will be given to National level achievers in sports, NCC, NSS, Scout and position holders from any board of examination.
• Fee concession will be given to meritorious students with 85% and above in Arts and 90% and above in Commerce and Science.

Quantum of concession will be decided by the committee.

Auditorium

All the departments and laboratories are equipped with laptops and LCD projectors to facilitate classroom teaching and presentations. An electronic notice board in front of the students' union room displays all the events and notifications.

Audio-Visual Facilities

LCD projectors are available for class room teachings, projects and seminar presentations.

Cafetaria

The spacious cafeteria offers a variety of healthy and fresh snacks and meals to students to enjoy and satiate their taste buds.

Cyber Cafe

A cyber café is set up in the college for the staff and students to provide them internet facility.

Gymnasium

To works towards the health a fully equipped gymnasium for physical fitness is open to students in the Nandlal Kanoria complex.

Hostel

Kanoria college hostel offers warmth, security and good care.College has 2 hostel buildings with well ventilated and furnished rooms with all the updated amenities. Hostel also provides hygienic and quality vegetarian food and a disciplined yet homely environment. Availability of seats depends upon the number of seats reserved for every course.

Parking Facility

Students should park their two-wheelers in the parking area allotted to them. They are not allowed to bring their four wheelers inside the campus. Vehicles should not be parked outside the college boundary.

Swimming Pool

A clean and hygienic swimming pool with an ‘automatic filtration plant’ is there in the college. An experienced female coach is there to train the students.

Counselling Cell

Kanoria college offers counselling to all students in an attempt to help the individual cope with the demands of a complex society and find her place in it. The personal Counselling Cell in the college provides counselling for better personal and social adjustment.

Grievance Redressal Cell

The college has set up a grievance redressal cell. A committee looks after the grievances submitted in the ‘Complaint Box’. Required actions are taken without disclosing the identities.

A glorious past to a bright future
Spearheading women's education in Rajasthan, the L ate Bhagirath Kanoria laid the foundation of Kanoria College with support from the Government of Rajasthan in 1965. Kanoria College grew into a premier institution with a distinct identity and image.

Starting with only the faculty of Arts, the Science stream was introduced in 1971.Now new courses like B.Sc. Biotechnology,BCA and interdisciplinary combinations have been introduced.The hostel opened its doors in 1981 to students from far and wide, and now houses 300 students.

• Keeping apace with the changing times the Commerce stream was added in 1985.
• It was a proud moment in the history of the institution when it became a postgraduate college in 1993. Now it has postgraduate courses in seven subjects of Arts, one of Science and three of Commerce.
• Professional courses introduced were Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication in 2005-06; BBA in 2007-08, BSc BioTechnology and BCA in 2008-09.
• The Nand Lal Kanoria complex was dedicated to the college in 2001 in memory of its former chairman, Late Nand Lal Kanoria.
