Eligibility:- A pass in degree [U.G/P.G] of any School subject and B.Sc., Computer Science & BCA with OC 50% BC 45% MBC 43% SC/ST 40% marks in Part III - For Home Science, Commerce and Economics,PG is essential. No Age limit.

Admission Procedures

For all courses the marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be the basis for preparing the merit list. The Tamil Nadu Government Reservation Rules will be followed for selecting the candidates.

Library

Mother Teresa Women’s University Library was started in 1984. The university library is virtually a “Mecca” for researchers in Women’s Studies. Its unique and rare collection of books. Reports, and journals on women, makes the library for excellence and competence in Women’s Studies. The university Library maintains a comprehensive collection of volumes numbering 60,000 and 4500 volumes of complementary books from various sources. The Thrust area of library is Women’s Studies pertaining to various discipline.

DST-CURIE Central Instrumentation Facility

The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, initiated the CURIE program (Consolidation of University Research for Innovation and Excellence in Women Universities) in 2009, to enhance R&D infrastructure in women universities. Mother Teresa Women’s University is one of the six women’s universities supported under this program. The Department of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Physics are the beneficiaries of DST- CURIE program in Mother Teresa Women’s University.

Hostel Facility

Mother Teresa Women’s University Hostel, Ananthagiri was established with the objective to facilitate academic activities in the University by providing comfortable stay for Post Graduates and Research Scholars.

Mother Teresa Women's University is situated at Kodaikanal, a quiet hill station tucked away in the Palani hills of South India.
