Admission in First Year for both General and Hons Course will be conducted only through online Mode. A student seeking admission in any course of First Year has to follow these steps:
Step 1: An applicant at first must go to the college website and read the guidelines regarding how to fill up the application form in the online mode. The applicant has to fill up the form after registering with a valid phone number or an Email ID. An OTP will be generated and transferred to the phone number or the Email ID given by the applicant. After that the applicant again has to log in to the college website and put the OTP forwarded to his/her phone number or Email.
Step 2: After filling up all the necessary and mandatory fields described in the form, the applicant has to submit the form. Once the form is submitted, the applicant cannot change or alter except few items up to a stipulated date specified in the college website. Then after the date for filling up admission form is over, merit lists will be generated from time to time and the lists will be published in the college website with the instruction and updates indicating the dates and availability of subjects/seats. Once one merit list is exhausted and seats are left vacant, another merit list will be published. To fill up all the seats several merit lists may be generated.
Step 3: Once an applicant finds his/ her name in the merit list, he/she must report to the college Admission Office within the stipulated datewith all documents in original and receipt of feesdeposited in the designated branch of the bank for verification. Admission will be confirmed only at the Admission Office and on fulfilling all necessary conditions laid out by the University of Burdwan and the College. An applicant providing erroneous information in the application form will be liable to be debarred from admission to the College/Course/Subject. It is therefore advisable for all applicants to go through the guidelines to avoid any error at any stage.

SINCE THE SYSTEM IS ONLINE, NO CONSIDERATION OF CORRECTION FOR ANY ERROR COMMITTED BY THE CANDIDATES AT ANY STAGE WILL BE POSSIBLE.
