PGDM Executive

The Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM – Executive) at IMT, Hyderabad is a 15 months comprising of eight terms, modular program for working executives. The program requires a participant to complete 100 credits in order to graduate. This comprises of 15 core courses (44 credits), 12 elective courses (36 credits), 4 project based courses (8 credits) and a field-based dissertation (12 credits).

The categories of courses are explained below:

Core Courses : During the first four terms the students take up core courses. These establish requisite base in functional areas of business and management. These areas include finance, marketing, leadership, operation, strategy, accounting, economics, data analysis and business law.

Elective Courses : These provide students with options to select amongst alternatives for attaining knowledge and skills in the chosen area(s) of specialization.

Executive Education

Institute of Management Technology – Hyderabad, offers several courses in various disciplines tailored to the development as well as educational needs of working executives. Mid-level as well as senior executives benefit from the following programs:

Executive Development Programs

• Short duration programs which are 2 days long and can be conducted over a weekend.
• Long duration programs which are 6 to 3 months long and are conducted over weekends.

Fellowship Program in Management (FPM)

The Fellow Program in Management (FPM) at IMT Hyderabad culminates in the original research presented in a candidate’s doctoral thesis and conferment of the FPM.

Residential and Other Facilities

IMT Hyderabad’s PGDM programs are residential in nature and all the students are required to stay in hostel. Currently IMT Hyderabad has two hostel blocks with 180 rooms each. All the hostel rooms are single occupancy, fully furnished and have internet connectivity. Apart from the basic amenities and required security, the hostels also have recreational, sports and gym facilities. The institute provides medical assistance to the students through the medical center.

IT Infrastructure

The Wi-Fi enabled IMT Hyderabad campus boasts of world class IT infrastructure. The fully networked campus has around 800 nodes with a backbone of 10 Gbps fibre connectivity with multi-layer, high end Cisco campus wide network and five enterprise level servers with blade technology. The campus also has video conferencing and webcasting facility. Further IMT Hyderabad has academic alliance with SAP University, Microsoft and SAS. The classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi enabled projectors, Smart Boards and Learning Management Systems.

Learning Resource Center

The Library of the Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad known as Learning Resource Center (LRC) is open to all Students, Faculty, Professional Faculty, Research Scholar and Research Associates, officer and staff of the Institute. The learning resource centre is equipped with books, journals, CDs and electronic databases.

The Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad, also known as IMT Hyderabad or simply IMTH, is the fourth and the youngest IMT to be established, located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This premier B-School was established in the year 2011. The campus is situated near Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. This 30 acre campus has a built up area of more than 2 lakh sq. ft built up area.

IMT Hyderabad offers three programs in management. Post Graduate, Fellowship Program in Management (FPM) and Executive Education.

The green campus of IMT Hyderabad has an academic block, a library building, dining halls, hostels, faculty housing and seven water bodies for water harvesting. A sports complex with cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, tennis court and badminton courts is being built. The academic block houses nine lecture theatres (tiered), eleven flat classrooms, 55 faculty offices, IT labs with more than 100 systems, administrative offices, meeting rooms, conference halls and an open air amphitheatre with a capacity of nearly 300.
