Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.)

Eligibility for Admission

Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks for Degree Examinations are eligible to apply provided they have studied Mathematics, Computer Applications, Computer Science or Statistics as one of the subjects. At the time of admission all candidates who have acquired their qualifying degree from a University other than Kerala University have to submit Migration and Eligibility certificates, in addition to other certificates.

State Merit Quota

The allotment of the candidates to State Merit Quota (50%) will be decided based on the rank obtained in the Entrance Examination from among the candidates who have given their application for merit quota.

Management Quota

50% seats are filled under management quota in accordance with the directions from the Government/ University.

Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)

Admission

Allotment of seats and reservation for backward classes will be in accordance with the rules and regulations stipulated by the University/ Govt. from time to time.

Our computer lab is a structured one, fully air-conditioned and well furnished. Our lab features the following;

Library

The College has a Central library and separate reference libraries for MBA and MCA. The Central library is operating in building where separate reference and stack rooms are provided. The Libraries are fully automated with more than 5000 volumes of text books and reference books in over 1000 titles. There are lots of technical journals, IEEE publications and magazines are subscribed in the library. Digital collections include more than 1000 DVDs and CD- ROMs.

MAR THOMA HOSTEL FOR LADIES
A newly built multi-storeyed Ladies Hostel on the college campus with all modern facilities, under the direct supervision of resident teachers and warden, is a special feature of this institution.

MAR THOMA HOSTEL FOR GENTS
A newly built Gents Hostel is within three minutes of walking distance from the college. The inmates are under the direct supervision of resident teachers, warden and the college chaplain.

Mar Thoma Institute Of Information Technology (MIIT) is a pioneer institution offering MCA and MBA programme under the Mar Thoma Educational Technical Training And Research Center. The college affiliated To University Of Kerala and approved by AICTE. The MIIT was instituted in 2002 with prime focus on imparting quality and career oriented education and produce promising technologists and managers.
