COURSE OFFERED 2021
Those who have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination in 2016 and onwards (i.e., in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021) are eligible to seek admission to 1st Semester B.A./B.Sc./B.Com [General (Pass)/ Honours (Advance)/Major] courses provided that he/she has also passed in English having full marks not less than 100 and fulfill the conditions as mentioned in the above referred CU Notifications.
1.For General (=Pass) Courses |
Passed 10+2 level examination of recognized Board/Council AND also passed in English having full marks not less than 100 |
2.For Honours (=Advance) Courses |
For candidates belonging to General Category |
Passed in English having full marks not less than 100 AND Obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (average marks of best four subjects excluding Environmental Studies/Education if it is compulsory subject) AND at least 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the 10+ 2 level OR Obtained at least 55% marks in the subject or related subject OR Obtained 50% marks in aggregate (average marks of best four subjects excluding Environmental Studies/Education if it is a compulsory subject) in case the candidatehas not studied the subject in his/her previous qualifying examination (10+2 level Exam) provided all other criteria are fulfilled. |
For candidates belonging to Reserved Categories ** |
Passed in English having full marks not less than 100 AND Obtained at least 40% marks in aggregate (average marks of best four subjects excluding Environmental Studies/Education if it is a compulsory subject) at least 40% marks in the subject or related subject at the 10+ 2 level |
N.B. If the subject ‘Environmental Science’ is studied as an elective subject of 100 marks, it can be taken into account for the purpose of determining the aggregate marks. ** Regarding SC/ST/OBC certificates please refer to GOs (1) 1203-BCW, dt. 27.05.2015 & (2) 1024-SBCW, dt. 27.05.2015. |
Criteria of admission to the General (Pass) Courses (Through Merit Lists only)
