Undergraduate Admission Eligibility Criteria, 2022

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2022-2023

Must have passed H.S. or equivalent from recognized board*in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019.
For admission to Pure Science Stream PASS in MATHEMATICS is compulsory.
For admission to HONOURS courses a student must have at least 45% in aggregate and 45 % in subject.
Students in Science or Commerce stream may apply for Humanities stream but not vice versa.
Students applying for Honours in available subjects must have studied the indicated subjects at H.S. Level in table below.
* Please check the list of recognized Boards before applying. No Refund of fees will be done for errors on applicant’s part.
Merit in a subject will be calculated as follows:
M = X + Y
Where M is Merit Point
X is Percentage obtained in H.S. or equivalent based on 1Best Language + 3 best subjects excluding Environmental Science and academically non-relevant subjects.
Y is Percentage obtained in Subject of Choice as defined below:

NOTE

Norms of reservation of seats for SC/ST/Handicapped students are strictly followed, as per Govt. orders. Production of relevant certificate from the competent authority is mandatory for availing this facility.
On closure of the scheduled admission time table if any seat(s) remain(s) vacant in the 1st semester Honours courses they will be filled up only by deserving candidates who are on the rolls of the College. They will have to apply on plain paper for consideration of candidature within two weeks of commencement of classes on specified proforma. Notice for same will be put up on Notice Board on commencement of classes.
Students are advised to choose combination subjects carefully, keeping in mind their aptitudes and interests. Requests for change in combination subjects are generally discouraged. However, in extreme cases, such changes may be allowed if applied for within twenty days of commencement of classes on payment of normal processing charges. Only online applications will be accepted.
