Important Instructions
  • Candidates of UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 have to apply online only. There is no printed application form for UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021.
  • Please ensure that you are filling genuine application form available online at UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 website. (https://jeecup.nic.in).
  • Please ensure your eligibility as per the criteria laid down for UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021.
  • All the candidates who have submitted the online application and paid the examination fee till last date will be allowed to appear in UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021. Admit cards will be uploaded on the website as per schedule. The UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) do neither verify the information filled by the candidates in the application form nor verify any certificate of category/subcategory/educational qualification for deciding the eligibility of candidates. The certificates of educational qualification, category and subcategory (if applied under reserved category/subcategory) will be verified by the concerned institution. The candidates are, therefore, advised to ensure their eligibility, category and subcategory (if applying under reserved category /subcategory). The JEEC will, in no way, be responsible for any wrong/incorrect information furnished by the candidate(s) in their online application form.
  • The fee (in Indian Rupees) for UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 is as follows:
    Application form fee:
    General/OBC
    SC/ST

    Rs. 300/- per application form + bank charges
    Rs. 200/- per application form + bank charges
  • The candidates should select the cities of examination as per their choice of Group A or Group E or rest of groups or all examinations of UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021.
  • Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form in Group- A and one application in Group E1 or E2 and one application in rest of the groups i.e., maximum three applications are allowed. In case of more than one application in any allowed group, candidature will be rejected.
  • The name of the candidate, his/her parents name and Date of birth in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in Class 10th/equivalent Examination. No prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should be used.
  • The fee may be paid by net banking/credit/debit card etc. Application fee once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.
  • No options can be changed at a later stage after submission of an application. However, a chance may be given to the candidates to correct/modify some of the particular(s) of the application form online only, after last date of submission of form. The candidates are advised to see the website and newspaper regularly to know the exact date when the correction(s)/modification(s) will be allowed online only.
    No change will be accepted through offline i.e., through fax/application including e-mail etc.
  • The UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) -2021 application has been made completely online i.e., the candidate has to fill the particulars online and also upload their photograph and signature. Due to above, the provision of sending hard copy of the application i.e., confirmation page to the UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) office has been done away with. Therefore, the candidates are advised not to send hard copy of the application i.e., confirmation page to UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) Council. However, the candidates are advised to retain hard copy of the application i.e., confirmation page for future reference or correspondence, if any.
  • Candidate(s) may check the status of their application on UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 website https://jeecup.nic.in.
  • The Hon’ble High Court of Uttar Pradesh alone will have the jurisdiction to settle and decide all matters and disputes related to UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 as JEECUP is located at Lucknow is organizing the UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 examination.
  • The offer of admission shall be subject to verification of original certificates/documents at the time of counseling/admission. If any candidate is found ineligible at a later date even after admission to an Institute, his/her admission will be cancelled.
  • If a candidate expects the result of minimum /Equivalent qualifying examination to be declared after 25th June 2021 by the examining body, the candidate is advised not to attempt UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021.
  • The candidates must have their own personal and valid email id. They are also advised to have their own mobile number. The candidates are advised to retain the same mobile number and email-id in use which they have furnished in the application form because the important information may be given to the candidates through SMS or e-mail.
  • The decision of the JEECUP regarding the eligibility of any applicant shall be final.

    + About UPJEE (Polytechnic)-2021

    • Mode of Examination: The Papers of UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) for all Groups ( A, E1 and E2, B, C, D, F, G, H, I, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7 and K8) will be conducted in ONLINE mode in selected districts.
    • Type of Examination: UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 shall have one paper for each group having 100 objective type questions.
    • Schedule of Examination:
      Entrance Examination is scheduled from June 15, 2021 (Tuesday) to June 20, 2021 (Sunday) in selected districts of Uttar Pradesh. Time of reporting and examination will be as per schedule printed on admit card of candidate.
    • Choice of Medium of Question Papers: All Examination papers will be displayed in two columns, one in Hindi and other in English Medium.
    • Examination centre for UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)–2021:
      ONLINE Examination will be conducted in selected districts of Uttar Pradesh. However, to facilitate smooth conduction of examination, a different district may be allotted.
    • Eligibility for appearing in UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 is as follows:
      Age: There is not any upper age bar but candidate must attain minimum 14 years on 1st July 2021.

    + Reservation of Seats

    As per UP Government rules candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on relaxed criteria. These categories are:
    • Vertical Reservations:
      • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of General Category - 10%
      • Other Backward Classes (OBC) if they belong to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) - 27%
      • Scheduled Castes (SC) - 21%
      • Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 2%
    • Horizontal Reservations:
      • Persons with Disability (PwD) (minimum 40% disability) – 5%
      • Freedom Fighter – 2%
      • Ward of Military personnel – 5%
      • Female Candidate – 20%
    Note: "VIMUKT JATIYAN (िवमुᲦ जाितयां)" are not allowed to take any benefit of reservation as Schedule Tribes (ST) in admission.

    + Seat Allocation Process and Admission Procedure

    Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices, reservation and State Open Rank of UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2021 through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later. The candidates will be able to make their choices online for branches and institutes at appropriate time. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) website www.jeecup.org and https://jeecup.nic.in for latest information. The verification of documents would be done at the time of Seat Allocation Process/admission. The purpose would be to verify different records regarding identification, age, qualifying examination, state of eligibility, category and Subcategory (if any) of the candidate. On failing to produce any of the authentic documents, the candidate will not be considered for admission. EWS- General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD, MP, FF candidates will be required to produce original certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of Seat Allocation Process as well as at the time of admission, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

    + Admission

    • Admission Preference:
      • The candidates who have passed minimum qualifying examination from institute situated in Uttar Pradesh or parents of candidate are domicile of Uttar Pradesh or Mother/Father of candidate is employee of Central Government and currently posted in Uttar Pradesh.
      • After admission of above-mentioned candidates, if seats are vacant, then admission will be open for rest qualified candidates of 'Other than Uttar Pradesh'. Foreign candidates should be nominated/recommended by their own Country and nominated/recommended/agreed by Government of India.
    • Fee for Admission:

    + Applying Online and Submission of Application

    The online submission of particulars, uploading of scanned photograph and signature may be made at UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) website. The candidates should fill all the required details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Confirmation Page with Application Number shall be generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page and keep it for reference. The Confirmation Page is not required to be sent to UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) council. The application fee payment can be made:
    • by netbanking/credit/debit card or other modes available at payment page.
    • by depositing fee in cash in the any branch of State Bank of India as selected by candidate, through e-challan generated during the online filling of application form.
    Refund Rules for Application fee: In case of Unsuccessful transaction, the amount will be refunded as per bank's refund policy. Candidate shall register chargeback request to his/her bank’s helpline.

    Online application format and Instructions for Applying Online: Before filling up the application form, the candidate should have a scanned image of his/her photograph and signature. These scanned images are to be uploaded during the submission of application form. The photograph should be colored with name of the candidate and date of taking the photograph printed on it. It should be without cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable. Candidates with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected. Photograph should not be older than 3 months. Candidates may keep 6 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination, Seat Allocation Process and Admission.

    Step 1:
    Candidate will provide Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Contact Details, identification document/number and Password, Security Answer etc.

    Step 2:
    Candidate will fill the domicile, category, sub category, group, examination centre choices and minimum qualifying examination details etc.

    Step 3:
    After completing Step 2, photograph and signature to be uploaded-

    Step 4:
    After completing Step 1, 2 and 3, candidate will proceed for payment through netbanking/Debit card/Credit card/e-challan of available bank.

    Confirmation Page: On successful completion of Step 4 (payment of examination fee), he/she take a printout of confirmation. Candidates are advised to retain the confirmation page safe for future. The Confirmation Page is not required to be sent to UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) council. Please verify your email id and mobile number to get update in your mail box. Completed application form and admit card will be available in your verified email account also.

    After completing the application, quality of uploaded images (Photograph and signature) will be checked by JEECUP, if image quality is below the acceptable range, Candidate will receive SMS on registered mobile number to upload new images.
