The application process for the admission to Post Graduate courses in Agricultural Universities under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research [ICAR] has started. The examination is going to be conducted by the National Testing Agency [NTA] on 01th June, 2020. Candidates who are interested and eligible can visit the official website and can apply for the same. The official website to keep in mind is
Master degrees are awarded by Agricultural Universities in about 96 sub-subjects under 20 major subject-groups [Annexure-III]. Candidates should select one Major Subject Group among the subjects given in for appearing in the Entrance Examination, based on the compatibility with their own subject area at graduation [Under Graduate] level Annexure-IV. The sub- subject choices, within the Major Subject-Group in which the candidate qualifiesthe entrance examination, will be available atthe timeof online counseling.
The numbers of ICAR seats and ICAR Post Graduate Scholarship / NTS [Post Graduate] in various subjects / Sub-subjects for the Academic Session 20202021 will be displayed on ICAR website at the time of counselling..

Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form. Read them carefully to ensure your eligibility.
Follow the 4 steps given below to Apply Online :

  • » Apply for Online Registration using unique Email Id and Mobile No.
  • » Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.
  • » Upload scanned images of Candidates Photograph [file size: 10 kb - 200 kb] and Candidates Signature [file size: 4kb - 30kb] and Thumb impression [file size: 3kb - 30kb] in JPG/JPEG format.
  • » Pay fee using SBI/Syndicate/HDFC Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled, and amount will be refunded to the candidates account. However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
